1/19/12 Israel

Today we were in the Sea of Galilee region. We started off the day looking at an Anicent Galilee Boat. Next we went for a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee in a boat that was similar to what the boats would've looked liked during the time Jesus was alive. After that we went to the Mount of Beatitudes, then we went to Caesarea Philippi. We had lunch at a restaurant on the Sea of Galilee, and had some "St. Peters" fish. After that we drove through the Golan Heights, we passed by the area where Jesus cast the demons into a herd of pigs and then the pigs went into the Sea of Galilee. We went to Capernaum, and then went to the place where Jesus fed the 5,000.

This was taken while we were on the Sea of Galilee, in between the two mountains is a route that Jesus would have walked from Nazareth to Magdala.
