1/20/12 Israel Trip
Today we went Bet She'an where Saul committed suicide. We went by the Mount of Tabor, which is the Mount of Transfiguration. Then we went into Palestinian territory and drove past the city of Jericho, and went into the city of Bethlehem to the Church of the Nativity. We drove by the shepherd's field where the angels came to tell them about the birth of Christ Jesus. In the distance we saw Mount Moab where Ruth was from that area.
